There
is a renaissance in Britain today in quality food production. British
Beef is widely considered the finest in the world. These standards have
been achieved through diligent and inspired nurturing of indigenous
cattle breeds such as Angus, Welsh Black and Shorthorn. Similar
revivals in British sheep farming methods have enabled our lamb breeds
such as Hardwick, Lakeland and Blenheim to receive international
accolades.
The Bull Hotel recognises such endeavours in British farming and is
proud of its choice of quality ingredients. Our menus utilise both
traditional and contemporary cooking methods and, where possible, we
source ingredients locally, placing special emphasis on provenance and
quality.
Our intention is to provide seasonal dishes based on familiar recipes,
whether comforting roasts, sumptuous puddings or spicy chutneys.
